Austin ISD Renovations at Zavala Elementary School
Most K-12 buildings are designed and built to last, but over the years, trends change, new technology comes online, and general wear and tear occurs, creating a need for a variety of renovations and updates. Fuse brings value to these types of projects by applying their vast array of cumulative knowledge regarding both new and existing K-12 environments. These projects require creative economical solutions that can easily be incorporated while minimizing disruption to campus operations.

Highlight
One of the project’s features was to renovate the classrooms in the existing 1936 classroom building. The original wood floors are long leaf pine and we were able to restore the floors to the original beauty of the wood with refinishing. We also added new casework including new sinks and drawers for paper storage.
